Goodness on the table

A culinary destination

A woman in sunglasses enjoys a seaside meal at a table under clear skies. The scene is tranquil, featuring distant hills and calm water.

The restaurant opens directly onto Porto Rafael’s beloved piazzetta, once cherished by Count Rafael himself. Beauty is everywhere — from the crystal bay to the tables overlooking it. Solaz combines refined design, beautifully crafted dishes, and an atmosphere made for lingering. The sea and the land fill our kitchen with fresh, high-quality ingredients, prepared with precision and care. Creativity isn’t for show — it’s a way to honor the true essence of each ingredient. At Solaz, every day feels like a celebration.

Local cuisine in an exceptional setting

Ours is first and foremost a cuisine of place. It might sound overused, but for us, it’s the essence of everything we do. Daily catch from the sea. Vegetables and herbs from the surrounding countryside. Local ingredients, as fresh as they come. Fish and meat dishes alternate with handmade pastas and seasonal produce — all united by one guiding principle: quality and creativity, with a distinctly Sardinian soul. And then there’s the wine: over four hundred hand-selected labels, ready to elevate every moment. Welcome.

The art of wine

Our wine list features more than 400 labels — with a focus on Sardinia, Tuscany, Piedmont, and France, alongside standout selections from lesser-known regions. A curated journey from vineyard to glass.
